Be Open With God

Hey y'all! Doing well I hope. Christmas is coming soon, I better start thinking of a good Christmas post but for now, this will do.
So last night I was in bed thinking, I am not that open with too many people. I have two friends that I can really talk to but that is about it. Then there is this other person that I thought of that I don't always remember about.

In my distress I cried to the Lord,
And He heard me.
Psalm 120:1

The Lord is far from the wicked,
But He hears the prayer of the righteous.
Proverbs 15:29

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry.
Psalms 34:15

Yes, it is God. He is the one you can always be open with. Jesus died to save your sins, but also when He died the veil of the temple was torn and it made a open access to God. Children of God can talk to Him anywhere, anytime now. You can bring any burden, anything that makes you happy, sad, anything. You can thank Him for your food and you can ask Him to keep you safe on your drive to work. He will listen, and He will answer. He may not answer in the way you want but He will answer. Because if He can create the world in 6 days, yes 6 days not 2 million years, He can help you with your problem. He can solve the unsolvable. Plus, He loves to hear your prayer about anything. God didn't make prayer for it to just sit around but so that we can use it. So take advantage of it. God won't get bored of hearing cries and thanksgivings. People aren't always available or trustworthy, but He is.
God bless you one and all, keep being awesome, and share your thoughts with God all the time!

  1. So true!! I sometimes can't imagine how lost those without Christ must feel sometimes! As much as I have some close friends that I can bring my issues to, all of my problems are unfixable without the help of God! And there are always those times of personal issues which I can't even bring to my friends. Having an always-available and caring all-knowing God is just something incomparable to any other relationship on earth! It's such a comfort!!
